Packing treasures...

So, I am finding little treasures as I'm cleaning out drawers and such and I found some pics! I thought i was fairly organized and had most of my pictures in one bin down in the basement, but I keep finding some stuffed in drawers or buckets or whatever! I had a whole thing of Piper when she was first born! yippee!! I hardly remember her as a baby, is that weird? she just seemed to always be a toddler. Lily is 2 and 1/2 yr old in this pic and it is priceless!! so hilarious, I was prego with Piper and this was taken at my parent's house when they lived in Utah for a bit, around Christmas time. So fun to uncover these gems, aren't they cute? Wish they stayed little..well, if they didn't cry, then they could stay little forever..lol..maybe I'll have another one they come out so cute..ok, feeling is gone! Yea for lost treasures!!

It's Official...

this was the dining room/kitchen..there is a half bath behind the kitchen and also the laundry room, i liked how it was open into the family room..and the cabinets, even though they were 80's oak color, they were so nice, real custom made, great wood, just such a solid house!

this is the front of our house, teddy painted the door red, and it looks great! I will miss this house, the location was outstanding, close to EVERYTHING..getting ready for a more rural life now with 10 acres behind us!!

Well, we're moving! We have to be out by November 26th, which is the day before Thanksgiving!! We really did love this house, its such a great home, and the owners who built it back in 1987 built a solid, top of the line home for their day and its been great for us! All we did was change the flooring and painted the beautiful crown molding everywhere. We've had some great memories here and we will miss this house. Alot of you didn't even get a chance to see it since we were only here almost 3 years, so I wanted to show you all our home. Here's to starting a new chapter and building our new home to fill with memories hopefully for the rest of our lives..CUZ I AIN'T MOVIN AGAIN!!!!!! ;-)

Well the leaves have fallen, and I had the great privelage of raking them all and putting them into sacks! woohoo! (Teddy had to work) Luckily I had help from some cute girls ;-) I then rewarded them with a fun snack of marshmallows and pretzels, we used our imagination big time and made all kinds of animals and such. I made a cow, its head wouldn't stay up, so I said it was eating hay, but i truly think it was dead...Then after we ate them for awhile we decided we needed some chocolate on them so i spread frosting on some, no..their mother is not a sugarholic..not at all!!!!!!!!! We had fun though!!

Halloween Weekend

We had a GREAT Halloween weekend! Lily and Piper were witches this year! Lily of course got into character and held her broom between her legs while she was trick or treating all night and loved all the makeup and fake nose and everything! I painted Piper's face and put her nose on and as soon as I did it she had me take it off!! So, Piper didn't have all the makeup on, but she still had some smudges around her eyes so she still looked spooky.., The pic of 4 of them, is their cousin Rhett, who we go trick-or-treating with every year. He was the HULK!! Belle was the Lamb of course and she loved trick-or-treating. She was really mellow as we pushed her around in the stroller, she growled a lot, but what's new?? lol.. Then on Sunday we had a Halloween family dinner up at Misti's and the girls all wore halloween tshirts and everything, too bad I didn't get a pic of their socks, they all had halloween socks that lit up!! They decorated cookies there and it's always fun to hang out with the family! We had a great weekend and completely on sugar overload, I think I'll actually be OK without having any candy for awhile! ;-)
