Ode to Feet...

Little feet, you run around all day caring for everyone! You may not be the cutest pair or have perfect toes, but without you I couldn't be the Hillary I need to be. How about a nice pedicure to repay you? A gift from your my mother-in-law who even watches the kids so I can go get pampered! Hooray for spa/massage chairs as the nice Korean lady works her magic..too bad she didn't speak English well so I could've told her how truly grateful I was for the attention! I promise to let other people keep you in tip top shape from now on, oh feet of mine, and never take you for granted again! Long live the pedicure!

Re-do for out of state relatives..

K, here is a re-do, since my last post was about Belle I thought i'd get a video of her being a little more conversational. She talked more on this one for those of you who don't get to see her all the time, just takes a min for her to start.. She loves to drink bath water even though i say NO, and the spots on her hands are what we went to the dr for and they are going away, thank goodness. enjoy!

she's getting too big...

First off I took all these pics on my new phone, just seeing how the camera worked..not bad! Miss Belle is now 16 months old. She's been dealing with a strange rash/bumps that have showed up on her limbs (arms, legs) and I took her for another checkup today and they did blood and urine and everything is fine, so basically it's just a weird reaction to a virus she must've picked up. Anywho, it will go away in a couple weeks, it's already starting to calm down so that is good. I share this with you because as we were waiting for hours at the Dr's office I took some pics of her. (she loved the "Hor-sh" on the table.) She looks so old!! She was like 32 1/2 in and 25 1/2 lbs, she was almost as long as the table they laid her down on..lol..but she is just the sweetest thing, so much hugs and kisses and laying her head down on your shoulder, its about time i got a cuddly one! she be crazy though, if she had spiderman's web power she'd be climbing a building right now, this girl wants to go UP! But she obviously enjoys her food (she says "mmmmm" when looking at recipe books or if food comes on the tv)and looks like she's taking up a knack for cleaning!! why stop her? I think I'll hire her from now on to mop the floors. She can be typical toddler and scream and cry and keep me up at night, but honestly i can't believe how fast she is growing, love that little "bitty".

June celebrations..

Hey! So June has been very eventful so far! Teddy and I celebrated our 8th Anniversary on June 9th, and it was great. We went to a movie and then to dinner and it was nice to just get to spend some quality "couple" time together. I truly love him so much and I feel we're better than ever!!I tried to be crafty and actually MAKE a card this year and he of course brought me some beautiful roses which as you can see bloomed SO BIG and pretty..love blooms like a rose..ok ok..anywho, then we had Lily's 7th birthday party and it was all things Hello Kitty. She invited some of her little friends and we did it at the park and thank the heavens it was the one day that didn't storm! She had so much fun and scored big time with gifts! We're so glad she's in our family she's just the best and I can't believe she's 7yr old already...here's to a great June so far!!

a hiking we will go....

First off, the pics are in backwards order..Okay, so my friend Sarah is very athletic and an active person and I aspire one day to be just like her...so she mentioned a great place to go hiking and we could take the kids (she has 3 boys) and everything. It was GREAT!! the first half you're walking up..and up..and up..and I kept believing Sarah when she'd say, "we're almost there"..about 20-30 minutes later we were finally at the top at a plateau and it was beautiful! And from there it was downhill into the forest more and to the river. The kids saw lizards and big beetles and the BIGGEST dandelions ever!! Sarah is buff and carried Belle on her back in one of those backpacking thingy's (cuz I'm prego..) and at the beginning, as we were going UPHILL mind you, her son was having a hard time so she carried them both! Like I said..one day..;P But needless to say it felt so great to be outside and feel invigorated and the kids even though they got pooped going up had so much energy after they got to splash in the river a bit and hiking back down to the car was a breeze..they wanted to go again as soon as we left! I think I'll try to do this at least once a week during the great summer weather! Sarah then told me she had hiked that same place the night before and then the next day after we hiked she ran a 5k and hiked to somewhere else with her mom..she be crazy!! but I hope by next summer I can say I am doing those same things..it was FUN! As you can see, Belle was a trooper for the couple hours we were hiking and then finally right about 100 meters from the car she gave out..too cute..

They never perform on demand..:-) She "Talks" so hard on the phone all the time, even laughing like someone is telling her a joke on the other end, well she was jabbering so much on the phone I thought I'd record it..of course she suddenly stops talking so much, so its kind of long but she talks a little bit. Plus it was lunch time and almost nap time so she was fading..lol..We might have to "up" our minutes so she can talk unlimited...;-)
