You will need:
1 C Sugar
1/4 C Water
1/2 TBSP Cinnamon
3 C Raw, Natural Almonds(or any almonds or nuts u like)
combine the sugar, water and cinnamon in a big skillet
Add the almonds and stir constantly coating them in the syrupy mixture
over Medium heat
keep stirring til sugar starts to crystalize, then remove from heat
and scoop them onto parchment or wax paper and allow to cool.
these are such the perfect fall treat!
I cannot tell you how AMAZING they make your house smell!!
Seriously, if you are having guests come over, MAKE THESE right before they come
and not only will your house smell delicious,
your guests will be grateful for this snack that they won't be able to stop munching on!
Also, a great idea to make batches of these and put them in canisters, jars, or cellophane bags for neighborhood holiday gifts

when i first made these i used left over roasted, salted almonds
then i made them today again with the natural almonds like the recipe said and think my hubby and i actually prefer the roasted ones better. BUT-these are equally delicious!
ALSO--you can use ANY nut with this recipe, YUM!!
